Just quick updates. Here are some songs that Kris Allen sang throughout the competition. All of them are studio version, hope you enjoy them as I do.

I also have his album prior to Idol, Brand New Shoes, but personally, I don't think it's really good.

Ryan Tedder - Battlefield

Battlefield is actually Jordin Sparks' new single from her sophomore album, Battlefield, due out in July this year.

So what's with this Ryan Tedder version? If you don't know Ryan Tedder for some reasons, he's the lead singer of OneRepublic band, plus he's the most wanted songwriter in music industry in the moment. Some of his written hits are Bleeding Love (for Leona Lewis), Halo (for Beyonce), and of course Apologize (for OneRepublic themselves). 

Now, for Jordin, he wrote this song, but there's no reason he shouldn't sing the song himself for some sort of demo, right? 

Anyway, I think this song will be a hit. Though at first it didn't grow on me, after a few plays, it really sticks in your head.

No Boundaries

For the first post of my brand new blog, I would like to share to you the debut single of the new American Idol 8, Kris Allen, No Boundaries. 

This song receives very bad reviews, and though I admit it's kinda catchy and Kris' voice is really pleasing, the lyrics are really cliche. Last year Time of My Life is much better, but I think this is good enough single for Kris to enter the charts.
